This course applies to a wide range of settings where emergencies involving asthma episodes may occur. It is relevant
for teachers, childcare workers, aged-care workers, disability workers, sports coaches, youth workers and designated
workplace first aiders.

 

Duration

  • 3 hours face-to-face classroom/workplace training and assessment
    with online/workbook pre-work, OR
  • Full face-to-face classroom/workplace training and assessment is available

 

Course Content
This course provides the skills and knowledge to be able to develop an asthma risk assessment and emergency
management plan and provide asthma-related first aid interventions in the workplace. It contains one unit.
